Bullguard Review – Is it Worth the Price?
Bullguard is a powerful security suite that covers all needs. It’s not as robust however it is an excellent package for those who want to get more out of their antivirus software. It also works well with resources, avoiding large system load while providing various options to ease the load when necessary.
The program is accessed via modular hubs that have tiles that show the layout of its modules. These include firewalls, antivirus and PC tune-ups, games boosters, and home network scanners. The “Vulnerabilities’ section will alert you to things such as missing Windows updates, autostart service and open ports. The “Game Booster” is a feature that optimizes your system automatically when you play, is useful for gamers.
In our tests, we found that bullguard was quite effective in preventing malware infections, and was quite light on system resources compared to other products in terms of CPU use. However we did notice that the background processes of the antivirus ate up a fair amount of RAM, particularly on systems with a limited amount of memory. Additionally, the components of the hub app looked at a low resolution and appeared pixelated.
Bullguard offers a mobile security feature that is included with its Premium Protection subscription, which provides antitheft protection, parental control and basic backup capabilities for your tablet or smartphone. The app is basic and does not include some vital features, including webcam security or file shredders. The only way to contact assistance via phone is via live chat or email.
The utopian dreams of Russian-style cybernetic communism could only be turned into everyday reality within the made-in-the-USA global village.
